Bowman Power is seeking to recruit a Project Manager to join our Engineering team.

The primary purpose of this role is to lead the planning, management, execution and completion of specific projects (both new product development and application of existing products to new customers), pulling together cross-functional teams to enable successful delivery in alignment with strategic business objectives.

  • Agreeing, managing and communicating project objectives, including scope, budget and schedule.
  • Representing the interests of both the client and Bowman Power.
  • Developing strong relationships with the customer and all stakeholders, building mutually beneficial partnerships for the long-term.
  • Managing project risk and ensuring lessons learnt transfer across projects.
  • To ensure that all the aims of the project are met, including delivery to the required quality standards. 

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous project management experience is essential (>5 yrs)
  • Experience managing the design and development of new products is essential
  • Experience in a role that requires strong customer facing skills, at all levels
  • The ability to work from little, poor or changing information
  • The ability to concisely present information and data up, down and across organisations  
  • The ability to manage multiple projects at once 
  • Evidence of an entrupereurial and commercial approach to customer and business problems  
  • The ability to adapt and change, and the ability to create structure where required.

The salary for this role is dependent on the candidates experience and skill set and will be discussed individually.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 37 hours per week (Monday to Thursday – 8 hours and Friday – 5 hours).

The successful candidate must have permission to work in the UK by the start of their employment.
